We’re here to help you! Meet our founder, Lisa Heckman, and fellow tax accountant William Walker for up-to-date, in-person tax and accounting tips on top issues that affect tax payers.

As we continue to grow to meet the increasingly diverse needs of our clients, the staff of professionals are comprised Licensed Tax Consultants, Enrolled Agents, and Licensed Tax Preparers, along with Bookkeeping, Payroll, and Administrative Specialists.The firm was built on workmanship, ethic, and integrity in conjunction with the importance of family. Over the years, Above All Accounting, Inc has achieved a balance of meeting deadlines and excellent customer service. Allowing the flexibility for staff to schedule time for volunteering in classrooms, attending field trips, and helping in the community.

From the moment Lisa took her first accounting course in high school, she knew accounting was her career path. Accounting fascinated her. She originally planned to join one of the big seven accounting firms. However, it wasn’t until her first son was born that she realized she would need to establish her own path. Above All Accounting Inc was founded in 1994 with the purpose to form a career that combined Lisa’s passion for accounting with time for family.

Lisa received her B.S. in Accounting from Pacific University and she is a Licensed Tax Consultant and Enrolled Agent. She has been running Above All Accounting since its start over 24 years ago and prides herself that some clients have been with the company since its very beginning.

Customer Service

Lisa Leigh started with the company in February 2019 and is new to our Above All Accounting, Inc. family. She grew up working in her parent’s family owned retirement home and gained the passion for assisting others. She joins our team with over 20 years of experience in fast-paced work environments and customer service. Lisa embraces building strong relationships with both clients and co-workers and she loves to learn and take on new projects.

Nicholas Moore

Nicholas Moore

Accountant / Payroll Specialist

Nicholas originally joined the team in 2008 as a Bookkeeper and currently serves as an Accountant and Payroll Specialist. He works extensively in all aspects of bookkeeping and payroll as a trusted resource in both areas. In 2013, he graduated from Colorado Technical University with a Bachelor’s degree in Science and Accounting. In 2016, he earned his tax license and began to delve into the world of tax preparation. He enjoys his work relationships with co-workers and clients alike.

William Walker

William Walker

William is an Oregon Licensed Tax Consultant who enjoys building a rapport with both clients and co-workers. He previously worked for a CPA firm preparing Medicare/Medicaid cost reports, and has experience in all things taxes. He joined the Above All Accounting, Inc. team in 2010. In addition to a B.S. in Business and Public Administration with a concentration in Accounting, William has minors in Finance and Information Management, making him a wealth of financial knowledge.

Anya Fischer

Administrative assistant

Anya joined the team at Above All Accounting in November 2022 as an Administrative assistant and aids with Payroll and Accounts receivable.
Anya has over 14 years of experience with customer service in retail and 12 years in the childcare industry.

She also grew up working for both her parent’s businesses, in the administrative and assistant manager positions and quickly learned she enjoys helping others. Anya enjoys spending time with her family and going on fun traveling adventures, she loves to cook and bake as well as do crafts and paint.

Dugan Sanders

Dugan Sanders

Accountant

Dugan is a Certified Public Accountant who joined the Above All Accounting team late 2021. He was born and raised in Orlando, Florida and attended the University of Florida where he graduated with a Bachelor and Master Degree of Accounting with a specialization in tax. He previously worked for Deloitte Tax LLP in Atlanta, Georgia where he provided turnaround & restructuring tax consultation services for distressed companies. Dugan is passionate about music, the outdoors, and helping others.

Aubrey Harris

Aubrey joined our Florida team in late 2020. She has a degree in Managerial Accounting from Purdue University and started bookkeeping in 2017. Aubrey’s knowledge, experience, and attention to detail makes her an excellent bookkeeper and accountant. She enjoys bookkeeping, problem solving and building good relationships.

Laura Bowen

Laura has re-joined our Florida team in 2023 after taking a couple of years off. She has over 13 years of tax experience and 15 years of bookkeeping experience. She has both an Associate’s and a Bachelor’s in Accounting degree from the University of Phoenix and started bookkeeping and tax prep in 2009. She brings with her an attention to detail and a positive attitude and drive. She enjoys helping others, building lasting relationships, and spending time with her family when she is not at work.

Theresa LeRiche

Theresa brought her attention to detail and problem solving skills to the team in 2013. She worked in the banking industry for many years, and also worked in sales and non-profit finances. Theresa has over twenty-five years of dedicated experience in management, operations and customer service. She is passionate about building strong, professional relationships with clients and co-workers, and creating a sense of community within the company. Theresa holds an Associate’s degree in Business Administration.

Tiffany Priest

Tiffany has been working for Above All Accounting since 2014. She has over twenty years of experience working in the insurance and financial industry, most of this time dedicated to client relations. She has an Associate’s degree in Business and utilizes her skills in assisting both clients and colleagues in all manners of workflow, including tax resolution, Offer-in-Compromises, abatements, and tax administration.

Wendy Bunkers

Wendy started her career in the hotel industry, where she accrued 7 years of customer service and computer skills in a management position. She transitioned to the high volume accounting firm in 2016 as a Payroll Specialist and Administrative Assistant for the last 8 years before joining Above All Accounting January 2024. Her primary role on our team AR Relations and to assist our Tax Professionals with accomplishing the task at hand. She performs daily administrative operations and assists clients in a friendly and timely manner. She has learned that consistent and clear communication is a must. In her free time, Wendy enjoys spending time with her husband and 5 children. They love family camping trips to the beach or mountains, hiking, riding bikes or renting movies and having a family night at home.
